Hertz Global Holdings, the world’s largest car rental company, through its exclusive master franchisee in the Philippines, Exclusive Cars International Holdings, will launch Thrifty Rent-a-Car Franchise in the Philippines.
Thrifty Car Rental was founded in 1958. It became a public company in 1987. However, Chrysler acquired it in 1989 in conjunction with Dollar Rent a Car. It is a globally recognized brand that stands for good value and quality service. Today, it is part of the global rent a car giant Hertz.
Together with its corporate-owned locations and those of its franchise owners, the Thrifty Car Rental brand has more than 1,028 locations in 68 countries.
To be launched in the 4th quarter of 2014, Exclusive Cars will serve the country through Thrifty Rent-a-Car with a completely differentiated fleet and service offering.
Mr. Raul Evangelista, Group Vice-President of Exclusive Cars, said: “Exclusive Cars International Holdings, the exclusive country licensee of Hertz Rent-a-Car in the Philippines, is proud to have Thrifty Rent-a-car in its roster given its global footprint in car rental service to be readily available for local airports and transport.
